During 2007, the following working meetings of the Network were held:
On March 30 and 31 in Miami, a planning meeting was held where SEKN’s strategic plan for the period 2005-2015 was reviewed, guidelines and processes for the government body were agreed, marketing strategies were discussed, the financial sustainability of the Network and the possible inclusion of other Schools. Finally, a schedule of actions for the development of the book corresponding to Cycle III was defined.
From June 12 to 14, at the INCAE Campus in Costa Rica, strategic issues of each coordination were discussed, criteria and cases that generated doubts to the Editorial Committee and key concepts for the developing book were discussed too. On the other hand, the drafts of the chapters and additional themes of intellectual production were worked on. Finally, the matrix of pedagogical cases and the dissemination and communication plan were also worked on.
From November 28 to 30, in the EGADE of Monterrey, Mexico, the third meeting of the year 2007 was held. In that meeting, the operating model of SEKN for the next research cycle, the progress status with the editorial committee for the book of the network on inclusive business wer discussed, besides working several chapters of it. The research of the next cycle, the possible growth of the network, the planning of the next colloquium and a work plan for the next months were generated.
