The convergence of social enterprise-related needs in Latin America, HBS’s expertise in the area and AVINA’s interest in funding “innovative ways to improve Latin America's development perspectives” created an important opportunity to undertake the creation of the SEKN as a joint-venture to promote vibrant social enterprise education programs in the leading Latin American business schools.
